365/194 - North Keys Hole (NX0250) First picture upload to this group which are mostly taken during my Galloway Travels. The route down to this point on the cliff top near to North Keys Hole from the Point O Spittal Farm is about 1 mile as the crow flies but as all walkers know, distance travelled has to be divided by the difficulty experienced and the climbing/descending involved. Getting here was a tough journey, initially across reasonable open fields, then burns in spate from the rains over the previous week, double rows of live electric fencing and cliff tops that slipped away under foot. Enough of that and back to the picture, the shot here is south east over Dunanrea Bay, Cairnsim Bay and Black Isle to Camp Bay North with the Mull of Logan on the far horizon right of the picture and were in the Rhins for this bit of my Galloway Travels. I was really pleased to get here after an hour of walking and stumbling, and equally happy to be walking away as the weather closed in from the Atlantic and across the North Channel to the right of picture. Its a beautiful area to visit with superb vistas but you really dont want to be here when the weather closes in.
