37 years ago , a barely known filmmaker by the name of George Lucas wrote a script about aliens , spaceships , mystical warriors and heroes. Everyone laughed at him calling him crazy and told him to write something else. He had support from no one during the 2 years of filming , the actors were confused about the story, the crew thought they were wasting their time , and the production company didnt get itself involved in the making of it , fearing they had already embarrassed themselves by agreeing to finance the movie. George Lucas would edit the film in the day , supervise the VFX work at night & try to get his film marketed in any way possible. On the eve of the films release , George Lucas & 20th century Fox expected the worse. But, the unthinkable happened. The movie which was supposed to be the biggest flop of 1977 , made 770 million dollars against a budget of 11 million dollars and was nominated for 10 academy awards, winning 6. And George Lucas , the little known director who nobody expected anything from , ended up becoming the richest man in Hollywood. And now....the legend continues.......
