38 years ago, I landed in America. I was scared that people would be unkind to a foreigner such as myself, that I would not succeed in a culture so different from mine. But this was not the case. The people here have been nothing but the kindest people I have ever met. The sense of community, at least in Iowa, has kept me going throughout the years, and is the only reason I am still in business, after they helped me rebuild when my toy-train shop was burned down by anti toy-train activists.
