3D Hubs Student Campaign: 3dhubs/students In its ongoing efforts to make 3D printing accessible to the masses, 3D Hubs offers $25 of free 3D print credit to students. On top of that, 3D Hubs is fully dropping its service fee for students as well. Students can participate by entering the name of their university and their personal education email address at 3dhubs/students. The first 1000 students to sign-up will receive $25 worth of 3D print credit, adding up to a total of $25.000. Referring the program to 3 other potential participants will earn sharers an extra $10. Once the initial offer runs out students still receive a 15% discount on all their 3D prints, effectively making the 3D Hubs service free. About 3D Hubs: 3D Hubs is the world’s largest and fastest growing network of 3D printers with over 8,000 locations in 140 countries. We are on a mission to make 3D printing accessible to everyone by unlocking the world’s idle 3D printers, facilitating transactions between 3D printer owners (Hubs) and people that want to make 3D prints. We empower people to create a new type of product which is personalized, on-demand and locally produced. 3D Hubs was founded in April 2013 in Amsterdam by Bram de Zwart and Brian Garret. Currently based in New York and Amsterdam, 3D Hubs is a privately held company backed by Balderton Capital and Dutch investors DOEN and Zeeburg.
