3RD GRADERS SAVE TEACHERS LIFE A third grade teacher at a Cleveland-area elementary school recently suffered a stroke in class, and things may have ended very badly for her if two of her students hadnt jumped into superhero mode. Linda Morey suddenly fell to the floor and started speaking incoherently. Most of the class laughed as they thought she was trying to be funny, but two students, who are likely to receive straight As now, immediately recognized that something was wrong and rushed to her aid. Alayna Worrell ran out of the classroom to get another teacher while Gabriel Crozier, a dedicated Cub Scout, ran to get the nurse. EMTs quickly arrived at the school and transported Morey to the hospital. She is currently recovering and taking some time off, but is looking forward to returning to her classroom. Her hero students say the incident was scary, but theyre happy shes OK and they cant wait to have her back. (WEWS-TV Cleveland)
