3rd Night letter You will not BELIEVE what Lucas’s team ran into on the 2nd Night! Crazy yummy bread and a FLOUR BOMB!!! REALLY!!! Not to mention getting tagged by TJ’s family. The craziest things happened last night…some good…some booboos. Hmmm, let’s see…Leo and Coco crashed into each other, Ms Rebecca forgot her PHONE (of all things, the Commander forgets her communications equipment!), a car seat ended up in the totally wrong vehicle (the one with no communications equipment/phone), Tal forgot his truck keys and got lost on every single delivery which caused him to run over three hours late, Lucas helped him out with his route and ended up with Jacob’s momma tagging HIM with a flour bomb (I’d pay good money to see that video!). Five teams had spectacular nights, one had a meltdown, and Lucas got totally tagged! Never a dull moment…. Now, just in case you think we’ve all lost our game controllers and have been lost to the zombies, WE LOVE JESUS MORE THAN NERF GUNS AND XBOX GAMES! Scholar Ministries, Mr Ron, Flour Boy Lucas and I live to teach Jesus and we use whatever we can get our grubby hands on. Then add Tal, Trey, Emily, Adrian, Carson, Brian, Diana, Mark, Mary, Gideon, Ana, Devon, Leo, Coco, Michelle, (you, too, Damon…I will never give up on you!), Gabby, Bella, Lucian, Jai, Dominic, Ethan, Tristen, Alex, Kaylee, Jacob and a bunch of other Christ-followers and you have some pretty intense fun bent on using the past, present, AND future to teach Jesus. Do you know what Jesus’ Call of Duty was and is today? To do justice, protect freedom, and show mercy? Remember learning last night that God says He is a God of Justice? God saw His people being bullied by the Enemy and did something about it...Jesus (God with us - Emmanuel), a baby boy who would one day walk on water, save our sons and daughters, and come to make us new. When Mary kissed the little baby, she kissed the Son of God…the Great I AM! So if you are sad, lonely, feeling ugly or weak? Jesus fights for you, for Justice, to free you from whatever hurts you and to show you mercy. You don’t have to be anything or do anything except love Him for being there for you and know that He fought and died for you…that He lives right now still fighting for you! Do you believe that??? Then you belong with Him and can call Him your friend! Instead of sad…you can choose to be happy. Instead of lonely…you can know you are loved. Instead of feeling ugly…you can know you are a treasure. Instead of feeling weak…you can know Jesus is fighting FOR you! Enjoy tonight’s little warriors and know you’ve been TAGGED by Jesus!
