4.1.1 ENTERTAINMENT GUIDE: Last week, Gyobera singer Irene Ntale threatened to take legal action against the Amarula Family especially Amooti their lead comedian for plagiarizing her work and using her song without her consent. Irene was displeased with a video posted online of the Amarula family. The video was their own version of her song which according to her amounted to copyright infringement. When contacted about this issue, Amooti of Amarula family a popular comedy group said that he was not scared of being sued and that he will “strip” Ntale should she go ahead with her law suit. “Who does she think she is, did we take the song from her,” remarked Amooti. “I will have no option but to strip her naked if she sues us.”We are watching this story for you and we will keep you updated.
