4-2 defeat away to Oban for pointmedia afc . It was always going to be a tough game for pointmedia against a strong oban team. Thought we held our own . We had a couple of key players missing non more so than our goal machine and centre half who have been pretty much part of our recent good performances. Media were 2-1 up at half time after another superb goal from wee nips and another for big jay and although we cant blame Oban for it the ref missed what was at least a 5 yard off side goal and then a clear hand ball for Oban to go 3-2 up . Media were pushing for the equaliser which was leaving space at the back for Oban to counter and grab another which couldve been more if it wasnt for some superb goal keeping from geo who had a few absolute belters . Ive no doubt when were at full strength we will be competing a lot higher up the league than our current position. Lets keep working hard troops cause its been fairly decent in recent weeks and close games against a couple of title challenging teams. Goals from nips & jay Motm - George Stewart
