4 Ways to Start your day: 1. Reach up to greet the sun!. Your body has been sedentary (hopefully) for approximately 8 hours. When you first wake up, your body is probably stiff or achy. Bring blood and mobility back into your muscles by stretching them out. Raise your arms over your head and feel your spine extend. 2. Set an intention.. Take ten seconds to make a personal promise to yourself about something you will focus on for the day. It doesn’t have to be big—it could be to smile more, or to drink at least 8 glasses of water—but it will provide a little dose of structure and motivation to your day. 3. Break the fast. Even those of us that claim we can’t stand the sight of food in the morning don’t have an excuse to miss the most important meal of the day! If a healthy breakfast with a lean protein and whole grain carbs simply isn’t possible, grab a can of Fuel and set your metabolism for the day. 4. Get moving.. Did you know that mornings are the best time of day to exercise? Not only does it give your metabolism a boost, it’s also done. Imagine not having to put off your workout because you already took care of it!
