4 coyotes hanging around the Point in #Redlands this morning at sunrise, I startled a young one when it came around the wall and we bumped into each other. When it yelped momma came around the wall with her hair up. They finally trotted off, looked like they went after a guys dog that was walking down on sunset. One of the locals said they have a den nearby and see them a lot. A short time later I saw a single young coyote with mange right below the point. I saw a guy later tonight with 2 big husky looking dogs running off leash below the point, not a good idea with the coyotes around. He was in a Jeep Cherokee and driving the dirts trails there with the dogs running beside his truck.
