4 days ago, 10 year old Musa Khan, a chronic patient of rickets was waiting for a surgery requiring a titanium implant to correct a fracture. Procedures like this are pretty costly and for a child whose father passed away 8 months ago and whose mother can barely afford to support a young family, much less pay for an expensive surgery, the future was beginning to look bleak. That is, until Welfare AID got wind of him and ambitiously set to collect Rs. 40,000, from the Ziauddin University community, a goal that was achieved within an astonishing 3 hours! Thanks to all of your generous donations, Musa has had successful surgery and he gives you all an (adorable) thumbs up and a smile to thank you for helping him out. At AID, our mission is to provide assistance to the underprivileged and with your continuous help and support, we shall keep striving to make a difference in as many lives as we possibly can, InshaAllah.
