#4 in series ON a Personal note We have one dog that weighs 80 pounds. His activity is medium level (runs a bit but is mostly quiet). The other dog, a female border collie, weighs 50 pounds. She is hyper-active (always on the move, always chasing a ball or running or playing.) Because of the different weights, the feed recommendations are based on that. But here is where activity level and feeding come to play. Our Border Collie at 50 pounds eats more volume than the 80 pound, non-active dog. She is fed more to accommodate her activity and he is fed less to accommodate is lack of activity. Otherwise she would be too thin and he,too fat. You need to know the amounts you are feeding your pets to know how much to reduce. This is very important in a dietary plan. Good luck and lets get our pets fit.
