[408/63 - A TRIBUTE WORKOUT TO PHIL HUGHES] During the week, Phil Hughes a 25 year old Australian cricketer was struck with a cricket ball and unfortunately passed away due to the injuries. It’s amazing how much coverage this unfortunate event has had and in particular the push of #putoutyourbat as a mark of respect. Matt and I decided that we wanted to pay our respect in a different way after watching a clip of Hughesy training in the gym. I thought it would be amazing to do a workout that would highlight the use of his baggy green number (408) and the total of his last innings (63*). ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ This is what we decided to do ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ A1.10 x 10 OHP – 100 reps (63 seconds rest) Superset 5 x 10 B1.DB Side lateral raises (seated or standing) - B2.DB Front Raises B3.DB Unilateral Press- 150 reps (63 seconds rest) Superset 5 x 10 C1.STD Upright Rows or Snatch Grip Upright Rows C2.Crazy Taxi Drivers C3.Reverse Machine Press – 150 reps (63 seconds rest) D1. 1 x 8 Push Ups Total reps - 408 reps.
