4th December 2014 New Planning Minister announced The new Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced his cabinet portfolios and has named inner city MP Richard Wynne as the new Planning Minister. Minister Wynne was Lord Mayor of the City of Melbourne from 1990 to 1991, and is the current State Labor Member for Richmond. The industry will be carefully watching in the coming months, to see how he and his government approach issues such as the New Residential Zones, height in the CBD and Fishermen’s Bend. Matthew Guy, former Planning Minister, has been elected the new leader of the Victorian Liberal Party.
