4th November, 1944. Today the Group dispatched 37 aircraft (36 + 1 spare) to attack Harburg, in northwest Germany. I ship aborted so the spare was used. Two PFF aircraft were provided by the 91st Bomb Group, these were flown by 398th crews but each with a 91st BG PFF Operator. All aircraft returned safely, although one of them landed away, at Horsham St. Faith (now Norwich Airport). All four Squadrons provided aircraft and crews today.
