5:07 a.m. this morning. I wake to a little person that approaches me whining. Goodness! What in the WORLD is there to whine about at 5 a.m. in the morning. Nothings HAPPENED yet!!! 6yo: Mommy, Im hungry! Me: WHAAAAAAAAT?!?!?! 6yo: Im HUNGRY! Me: Uggggghhhhhh.... (Arent I a good mother?) Me: Go in the kitchen and eat a banana. (See? Im a good mother.) 6yo eats a banana and then proceeds to come back and climb in next to me. 3 minutes later... 6yo: Mom? Me: Yes? 6yo: What do I do with this big bugger on my finger? Me: WHAT. IN. THE. NAME.?!??!?!? 6yo: Seeeeeeeeee.... what do I do with the bugger? Me (gagging a bit): Get up and go put that thing in the trash. 6yo goes to dispose of that grossness and then comes to get back in the bed with me. Hes quiet. Im happy. I slip into a few more minutes of sleepy bliss... then somewhere in my subconsciousness I realize... that the cuteness cuddling next to me with a hand wrapped around my neck... did not wash his hands after handling that huge, nasty bugger. Ugh. #mylife
