5/27/14 I talked to Wanda for a long time this evening & she wanted to let everyone know about the progress Butch is making & to thank everyone for their prayers. She said the doctors had him sitting up today, once on the side of his bed & once in his chair. He still has the trach but tries to communticate & can write, although at times words are jumbled. The bleeding has stopped . The stroke was in the cerebellum. A couple days ago he asked about the accident (he has no memory of it...... a blessing) and about Bob. It wasnt until this morning that he realized that Bob was gone & it was a very emotional time for him. He tried to tell the doctors, nurses and other workers all about Bob & what a great man he was. Butch still has a long way to go yet but praise God for what he has done so far! The doctors realize there was someone other than them that was responsible for this miracle. To God be the glory for great things he has done! Pray for strength for Wanda. I also talked to Janice Waldron, who was so grateful to all the yellow shirts that came to Bobs visitation and funeral. The grandchildren were so impressed by things that were said about Bob that they have decided to help at the food ministry that Bob had been involved with. Janice also said she enjoyed all he photos & Bob stories that everyone had written. She could just see him doing all those things.
