Which she valuntarily retired on 31st dec, 2009. *She later delved into active politics in the early 2010, outshined the then serving senator. Sen. Anthony Manzo in the PDP primaries. Despite all odds as challenges militating against her aspiration, she later defeated Rev. Jolly T. Nyame (former governor of taraba state) of ACN and the government sponsored candidate Anthony Jellason of labour party in the 2011 general election. *All the three senatorial aspirant she defeated come from thesame local government (Zing LG). With the least vote she got from the area as recorded by INEC, and that does not stop her from fulfiling the promises she made during campaign (politics without bitterness). Her first costituency project was cited in monkin, zing LG. *A first female senator in the history of taraba politics, what a good omen. *The good people of taraba has call her to come and serve her homeland, she answered their call in good faith.
