I spent 2 hours on the phone with my mother, primarily to beg for money (we have less than $70 to get us through to May, and we need food and gas) but also to wish my eldest sister happy birthday and see how my younger sister is fairing. She was recently diagnosed with cerebral palsy and is in physical therapy. My mom apparently just spent 14 hours at the veterans hospital with my dad getting more testing for his Alzheimers. I KNOW the stress is getting to her when my mother cursed, very softly under her breath, but I heard a definite Damn! Realize, this is a woman who belted me for saying damn when I was 5 years old, grounded me for two weeks for shouting What the hell and would scold us that we shouldnt even say darn or shoot. For her to cuss, shes gotta be at her limit. Wish I was close enough to help. :(
