5 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT SIDE BY SIDE 1. IT ISNT A BIBLE STUDY. Or a prayer group. Or a sneaky way to get you to come to church. SBS is a support group for young moms, its about having a place where other people get what you are going thru and you can relax and be yourself. SBS is about creating the kind of place that I wish had existed when I was a young, single mom. So realllly, its all about me!! ;) 2. YOU WILL NOT BE JUDGED. I keep hearing concerns about coming to a church and being judged a sinner and cast into the fires of hell......thats really not going to happen. My stance is this: Our Church is a community of people who love God, God calls us to love one another. Sooo my job is to love. The end. And for those of you who dont yet know me well, I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM TO JUDGE ANYONE, EVER. 3. FREE CHILDCARE EVERY WEEK FOR ALL AGES!!!!! The kids will love it and be begging you to bring them back, seriously. 4. There will be free stuff. You wont know what and you wont know when, but if you dont come, you will miss it. And be very sad ...... 5. Try it, you might like it. We say it to our kids all the time, but its a little bit harder when we apply it to ourselves. Its hard to put yourself out there and take a chance. BUT, all good things require taking a risk, and this one is relatively small. Soo, gather your courage and come!! Or grab a friend or your Mom to come with you. If you are crazy nervous, get in touch with me. I promise, you wont be sorry!!
