Lions center Dominic Raiola has been suspended one game for stomping on a Bears player during Sundays 20-14 win in Chicago. Raiola appeared to intentionally step on the back of Ego Fergusons ankle early in the third quarter, but after the game the center said the incident was accidental. He is expected to appeal the ruling but if the suspension is upheld he will miss this weekends contest against the Packers in Green Bay. The Western Michigan men’s basketball team raced out to an early lead defeated the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 71-62 at University Arena in the Broncos’ first home game in a month.
