Stressful week! Just got another water leak scare in the Studio. Fortunately, we seemed to have caught it early enough to prevent another major disaster. It was a good job I had band practice on Wednesday, otherwise I probably wouldnt have caught it untill it was too late again. Halfway through our practice session, Dave, our guitarist found he was being rained upon. This time the cause was a leaky boiler and leaky washbasin. I was always worried about situating the room underneath a bathroom where there is also a maze of pipes running under the floor to the boiler and central heating system. I cant risk another potential water problem, so Im having a waterproof roof put on the live room. It will take a few days to fit as access is difficult, but it shouldnt put the studio out of action this time as the work will be on the outside of the room. Im gearing up for an open day hopefully in July as the studio will be opening all hours from July onwards. Ill be posting the date on here and on the website in due course and it will be great to see a few new faces!
