5 Things you need to know this morning The U.S. Justice Department has plans to open a civil rights investigation into the Ferguson, Missouri police department. Sources say the investigation will be officially announced later today. Thousands of fast-food workers across the country will make the risky move of walking off the job today as they demand a raise to 15-dollars-an-hour.
