5 lessons Brazils Failure Can Teach Us. Failure teaches more lessons than success. So I learnt a few lessons from the demolition of the Brazilian football team last night. 1. Never depend solely on one key player alone, build a team where everyone complements each others weaknesses. 2. An integrated wholesome strategy beats individual tactics anytime. So learn to synergize and let the whole be greater than the sum of individual parts. 3. Discipline eats talent for breakfast. Natural talents cannot transcend into mastery without discipline. 4. Majority isnt always right. Popularity doesnt necessarily count. Brazilians had the support of the home base, fans and weather. Germans had the singular precision of a sniper and although Brazil statistically had more ball possession, at the end of the day only goals count. 5. Football is a funny and unpredictable game. Life can be like that sometimes.
