50+ galleries in two days, plus 2 studio visits in Manhattan and 2 in Brooklyn. A more slow paced day scheduled tomorrow: early morning at the Met (for Charles James before the museum opens) and coffee with Chuck, Polke at MOMA (and more), Maria Lassnig at PS1, Brooklyn again for Karen Schifano and then Domino Sugar Factory and Kara Walker. (Who would have imagined a NY art week involving visits to both a Columbian Chocolate Factory and a Sugar Factory? I expect one will have a more lasting impression on me than the other.)
