50 storytelling tips and tricks: #4 - Context When you tell a story, sometime you use numbers and sizes. If you want to be sure the most impactful information you share will be understood, you shall provide a context behind those numbers your adience can relate. I.e. "... the space monster was tall 12 feet, more than two times the height of the hero ..." Tips for building a context: • Highlight the key impactful data points you want to land and test those to see if people really understand the impact. • Look for simple comparisons or common frames of reference that will help your audience not only personally connect to the content but also better understand its significance.
