#5727 Female My mum died when I was about 8 and a half months old. My dad sent me to a boarding school after that but kept my younger brother along with him.My mum was a lawyer and she was beautiful :-) how smartly she used to dress up for the court ! I always wanted to become a lawyer like her. I was determined and my mum was my inspiration. After I passed my hslc last year my father told me to take science. I requested him that I want to take arts.He yelled at me he told me that he knows whats best for me.Indeed every parents wants the very best for their childreéen. But what about my dreams? I respect my dad a lot. And was about to give up my dreams because my dads happiness was my first priority. That night i couldnt sleep ; all those debates that I have won in my school life all to no avail? I could actually feel my heart breaking ...my dreams and My mothers dream. The next morning my father brought my admission form .. I pleaded him but he was adamant but even I was I cant let my dreams go just like that. I took arts at the end but after that my father seldom talk with me. Dream is to become a lawyer like my mum . Dream is to fight for justice and truth. Dream is to make my father proud. Hope I didnt take a wrong decision. I Know Im just 17 too young too immatured to take a decision for my career. But deep inside I know that Im right and Im happy and I hope he will forgive me soon... I love u a lot papa I know u follow this page.. I just want your support ...please?
