58% of Type 2 Diabetes cases can be prevented or delayed through lifestyle modification. - eat less (we eat way too much) - dont add sugar to anything (theres enough hidden in our diets already) - dont overdo the carbs (bread, pasta, rice, potato) and switch to Low GI options - add raw vegies to your diet (carrot, celery, lettuce, spinach leaves) - be more active (start walking, stand & move about at every ad break on tv) - build some muscle (muscles use the sugar from your blood) - sweets are treats (not every day food) I will be writing more about Diabetes on BH50 in the next couple of weeks.
