5TH EXPOSITION ON ISLAMIC INNOVATION 2014 (i-Inova2014) Venue: Nilai Indoor Stadium, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia Date: 31st October - 2nd November 2014 (7-9 Muharam 1436H) Website: i-inova2014.usim.edu.my/ Submission and Registration: submit.confbay/conf/iinova14 The Exposition on Islamic Innovation (i-Inova) is a series of successful exposition that began in 2010 organized by Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). It is an exhibition and competition to introduce innovative products from higher learning institutions and research institute from local and abroad. This year, USIM in collaboration with ASM, MOSTI and MOE will organize the 5th Exposition on Islamic Innovation 2014 (i-Inova2014) at Nilai Indoor Stadium, Negeri Sembilan. The objectives of this competition are to: �Introduce innovation in the creation of Islamic products. �Provide an opportunity for the society to understand and to trigger their awareness on the latest creation and usage of Islamic products. �Increase awareness amongst individuals on consumer rights and the importance of Islamic products. �Provide a platform for USIM to show its potential as the �entre of Reference for Islamic Science Products�which is in line with the University� objectives, vision and mission. �Encourage creativity and innovation among researchers and students in contributing to the development of ummah. Participants Categories This competition is open to the following participants: 1. UNDERGRADUATE Open to undergraduate students from local or international universities, colleges, university colleges, politechnics etc. 2. OPEN Open to researchers, academicians and post-graduate students from local or international higher learning institution, school, research institute and industries. Competition Categories 1. Pure and Applied Sciences Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Biochemistry, Material Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Biotechnology and other relevant fields. 2. Technology and Engineering Mechanical & Manufacturing, Electrical and Electronic, Civil, Material and Polymer, Chemical Engineering, Energy and Transportation and other relevant fields. 3. Clinical and Health Sciences Basic Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Medical Microbiology, Parasitology, Pathology, Community Medical Prevention, Clinical Surgical, Clinical Medical, Associate Health Science, Dental and Nursing Science and other relevant fields. 4.
