5TH TUESDAY DULCIMER JAM TUESDAY - Sept. 30th Hosted by Southern Strings Dulcimers at the Little Log Cabin in Dixie 725 Elks Lake Road, Hattiesburg, MS We would love to have you attend our 1st (hopefully) annual 5th Tuesday all day Jam. Please share info with your group members as this is an invitation to all the South Mississippi Dulcimer Association members. We will begin at 9:00 with sweets and coffee and start jamming around 9:30 a.m. We will have some fun activities during the Jam session which will bring a little variety to the Jamming. There will be no instructional sessions only fun and fellowship with of course lots of playing. We will break at noon for a potluck salad lunch. (Everyone is asked to bring a favorite salad to spread out and share with the group). Drinks and Desserts will be provided by Southern Strings! After lunch we will continue jamming to around 3:00 p.m. Please plan to bring all those acoustical instruments (along with your dulcimer of course) that you dont get to play often and join in the jam... Psalteries, penny whistles, ukes, spoons, guitars, banjo, Hammered or banjammers, etc. All welcomed.
