5th CISM FUTSAL CUP FOR PEACE – SKOPJE 2013 Next week, from 29 September to 03 October, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia will host the 5th edition of the CISM Futsal Cup for Peace. This tournament is very important to CISM, not only it is based on the principle of mutual understanding but also aims to smooth a fixed differences and disputes among the six countries that composed the former Yugoslav Republics. The success of the project was already been internationally recognized. In 2009, in Monaco, the CISM Futsal Cup for Peace was one of the nominees’ projects for ‘The Peace and Sport Awards 2009’, which was conducted by Peace and Sport, l’Organisation pour la Paix par le Sport, under the high patronage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco. Thanks to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia we are able to show to the world our commitment with peacekeeping and put in practice our motto “friendship through sport”.
