6:00 p.m. Friday update Kristina was scheduled to have a feeding tube placed at 12:30 today. After some delays, they finally came at 5:00. They were unable to place the tube due to her colon blocking the path to the stomach. They will have to take her down and place the tube in radiology while using a CT to steer clear of the other organs. Were not sure when this will happen. It will most likely be tomorrow or Monday sometime. This is just a minor hiccup, and the feeding tube is working fine for now. Hopefully we can avoid infection as she is currently on a couple different antibiotics. Im sure shes ready to get the feeding tube out of her throat, but its just one day at a time. Other than that, theres not much going on. Were going to say our prayers and hope for more progress. Thank you and god bless.
