The Chief Security Adviser to the Delta State Governor Rear Admiral John Onoriode Kpokpogri (Rtd) made this appeal during a security meeting with members of the independent marketers branch of NUPENG Ekpan unit at the Government House Annex Warri - The Delta State Government has shut down 662 private primary and secondary schools operating illegally in the State, briefing journalists at the Mid-term report of the Delta State Basic and secondary Education Ministry its Commissioner Prof. Patrick Muoboghare said the action was neccesitated by the new policy direction of the State Government which he said was geared towards providing qualitative Education at the cradle. The Commissioner disclosed that the affected schools were built below standard and in most cases have unconducive learning environment -The Delta State Commissioner for Environment Chief Frank Omare has pledged the resolve of the Ministry in ensuring that no part of the State was spare in the demolition of illegal and makeshift structures, the environment Commissioner who stated this said Government was committed to making the State clean and would not stop until its desires were achieved
