6 PEOPLE SHOT / 2 DEAD IN PHILADELPHIA (FRIDAY NIGHT) 1) Friday evening’s second shooting victim was wounded just before 5:30 p.m. on Hoopes Street, near Westminster Avenue and 48th Street in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia. Medics rushed a 37-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the Hospital of the University of Philadlephia. 2) An 18-year-old man was listed in stable condition at Temple with a leg wound following an incident reported in the area of West Erie Avenue and North 16th Street in the Tioga section of the city Friday night. 3)Medics rushed a 61-year-old man to Einstein Medical Center, where he was reported stable with an arm wound following a shooting incident at about 2:20 a.m. Saturday near Stenton and East Mount Pleasant Avenues in the Stenton section of East Mount Airy. 4) Two men were shot at about 2:40 a.m. inside a home on Springfield Avenue near 57th Street in the Kingsessing section of Southwest Philadelphia. A 24-year-old man was reported in critical condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a 28-year-old man was reported stable at Mercy Philadelphia
