#62# On our arrival Mlu and his dad were already at home. When we entered the yard they both came out to greet us. They had that suspense look in their faces. I just remember we didnt tell either of them about the news of my driving test. We completely forgot about them when we were having the ladies day. I guess they also were scared to phone cause all they needed to do was phone to find out how it went. But being the gentleman they were they decided to wait for our return before they get their long overdue information about my driving test. We parked the car and I got off with all the shopping bag. Mlu came over to help carry some of the plastics. Dr Nxumalo: so you ladies went for a shopping therapy? Was it that bad? Good evening ladies he said this while he was bending to kiss his wife baby kiss on the mouth. These two were still much inlove even after 22years of being together. They were my role models. Mrs Nxumalo: yes love it was terrible I had to console Lih. My poor baby was so hurt but I told her better luck next time she was playing with them, she even had the sad face to go with her plan and I could see that they were actually believing her. Dr Nxumalo:dont worry Lih you will get it next test at least now you know what is expected :( Mlu:sorry Lih I will make sure you get it next time I will train you myself if I have to :( ncoooh such caring man I was lucky to be surrounded by them. I couldnt hold my laughter anymore. I just bust out laughing! Me:you guys mah is pulling a fast one on you I got it fair and square! It was in the bag by 12. Hahahaha you should have seen your faces they all laughed and congratulated me. I saw relief on their faces. God my driving license test was so important to everyone in this household. It was the happiest moment of my life. We went in the house. It was now time for us to have supper so I took my plastics bags to my room with the decision to look at them later and came back to the dining room. We were having mutton breyani for supper that day served with chutney and coslaw salads. It was delicious. Once again sis Ntombi was proving herself as to why she was the employee at the Nxumalo residency. Dr Nxumalo: Lih you have to go back now to the same driving school I want you to pay for learning to drive code 8 cars. I will pay the expenses so that you know how to drive a small car Mlu:yah so that she can start driving my car Im tired of being the only one who knows how to drive that car Me: ok dad I will go tomorrow to check prices then will tell you. Thank you for everything you guys are really good to me Dr Nxumalo: no problem baby girl you one of us now so its good to have you in our lives Mlu:by the way when are you leaving Im tired of sharing my parents with you! He said jokingly we all laughed! Mrs Nxumalo:Lih is going no where shes my daughter and no one has a right to speak to her anyhow Mlu:well well well I see Lih has found herself a protective lawyer. Dad be careful. These woman are on fire :) hahaha. We finished supper then conducted our daily prayer session , we said our goodnight and we all went to our bedrooms to retire. I went to my room to pack my new clothes nicely then run a quick bath, lotioned my body then wore my summer pjamas I was ready for bed. I decided to call Nomusa and tell her the good news. She was happy for me saying I was lucky to have passed my driving test on my 1st attempt most people fail and pass it 2nd time around. We talked about what I missed at school then how she was feeling today? She was ok so we hung up. Just when I was about to sleep my phone rang. I checked the caller Id my booh was on the line :) Me: my love Mlu:hey beautiful I have been trying to call you just now but your phone was engaged Me: ok I was busy talking to Nomusa. Whats up you missing me already? :-/ Mlu:yes I do but I didnt get a chance to congratulate you properly about the license issue with the parents being around and everything. So I was wondering if you wouldnt mind coming over to my room now I want to give you a proper congratulation you deserve Me:you mean come now now? 0-0 Mlu:yes Im ready for the task Me:hahaha ok I will be with you just now I woke up from the bed. Put on my sleepers and my gown. I opened my bedroom door, tiptoed to the sitting room door. I was out on my way to Mlus back room. On the way I couldnt contain my laughter when thinking of what lay ahead this night with Mlus idea of a congratulation ceremony. Hahaha I knew what that congratulation meant and I wasnt prepared to miss it at all. It was long overdue...
