#6256 On the train today there was a guy who tapped my shoulder and asked me if I attended Columbia because I looked like one of his classmates. I told him I went to Bronx Science and we got into this whole conversation about college, jobs, majors, and life in general. When I told him what I wanted to major in he told me that what I would study would waste my mind, and that it was going to take me nowhere. He then proceeded to give me anecdotes of people he knew who studied that field at ivy leagues but couldnt get a job after college so they ended up working at Starbucks. I dont know what to do now because I was really intent on studying that subject. I thought I finally got my future together but now Im not so sure.
