#6290 I really hate how theres a mentality at this school that its not okay to not be good at something. Specifically, I dont understand why everybody makes a big deal if you have one or two classes that youre struggling with. Yes, I think it is good to have a mentality of striving for perfection, but you shouldnt be shunned for not doing well at first. Sometimes the only way to get to success is to go straight through failure. If youre not doing something well, then your current lack of success shouldnt be looked at as your maximum capability, but rather it should be looked at as a road you are traveling to try to increase your success in that class, little by little. I really wish teachers and the greater majority of the student body would understand this. (PS it doesnt help that the grading system makes it easy to drop your grade 10 points but, impossible to raise it 2.)
