666 is the Number of the Mark of the Beast, according to the Holy Bible. According to Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is thenumber of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.There is a stern warning from God, that if anyone takes the mark of the Beast, and his number, that they will not be able to be saved. This means, of course, that their soul will be forever lost, in the lake of fire, the place called Hell. A bit severe? Rather harsh? Why such a cruel punishment for something so seemingly insignificant as putting a few marks on your hand or forehead?In the first place, the Bible tells us not to put ANY marks on the body. Leviticus 19: 28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Why? The Lordsays that our body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, it is not our own, we are bought with a price, and we are to glorify God in our body and our Spirit which belong to Him.In the second place, the Number 666 is a special number God has given for the AntiChrist at the end of this age. All whobuy in to his program, all those who become a citizen of his economy, all who receive his mark, are expressly designated by the Scriptures as lost anddamned. Why? The Antichrist stands AGAINST everything God stands FOR. He will claim to bring world-wide peace, while in actuality he brings about anExclusive One-World-Religion that totally excludes all others.666 will be some sort of barcode placedon the head or hand.
