7/7 ..... On this day , 23 years ago, on a hot muggy early Sun morning I was handed a tiny extension of my life. As I stood in the parking ramp , with the thunder rumbling in the distance, it really sunk in ..... I AM A FATHER. Not a day goes by when that day isnt fresh in my mind, even though this little blessing can and will test my patience, she will always be my daughter. She has so many of my given traits that always cause so much tension and friction but that makes her survive. Strong , independent , and bull-headed she carries on through life. Not always making the best decisions, but they are hers to learn from. Advice from a father usually falls on deaf ears, but thats a fathers job ......... one I am glad to do.
