Im not one to bad mouth businesses, but I saw something particularly disturbing today at Junction Square. While I was roaming the food court with my 6 month old latched to my chest I stopped by a cake display case for this well known cake store. While peeking into the display I noticed along the top above the lights quick movements. About 6 inches above the cakes there was not 1,2, or 3 swift moving cockroaches, but at least 12 scurrying along the edge. Yes, it was a family affair and this is all happening 6 INCHES above the cakes. I pointed this out to the typically oblivious Burmese and told here there was cockroaches...LOTS inside here. And of course she nods, smiles, turns her back and walks over to the other worker, whispers in his ear and goes on to ignore me. Oh well-I check out the 10 or so customers happily enjoying their cakes and decide its time to go. Before leaving I whisper to my 6 month old TIB. you will never eat in this food court.
