7 of Wands – Defensiveness The Seven of Wands is one of those cards that yet again has so many meanings depending on the situation. It is a card of Valor and having a backbone as the Thoth deck describes. It means we are strong, courageous and willing to take on situations that to others seem daunting, out of reach or just plain frightening. With this card we are willing to stand on the hill and defend our position, our castle, friends, family and so on. Over all in an unpredictable, ever-changing world this is a good quality to possess. Don’t lose it if you have it. If you don’t see it yourself, than consider looking for it as you just may find it. Now let’s look at the 7 of Wands from the perspective of some damaging learned behavior or an out-dated defense mechanism. What would make us feel like we have to defend ourselves at every turn? What has us attacking ourselves or others? What makes us feel that white-hot fear running through our veins?
