7 years ago I took a leap of faith and left a very comfortable position of influence and security to do what I believe was a call to fulfil my purpose and destiny. Looking back over the rocky road, rough terrain and stormy weathers, I can perhaps in a very small way identify with Apostle Paul when he says in 2 Timothy 4:7... I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith ...In the process I have lost and gain in various areas of life both materially and spiritually, but praise be to God I am still standing here today to testify and give God all the glory...I am humbled by the beautiful friendships and bonds formed out of my triumphs and despairs. I appreciate and treasure every bit of support from my family , friends and even total strangers...I wrote a song this morning that perhaps express a better understanding of what I am trying to say FRIENDS FOR A LIFETIME Friends for a lifetime Are worth more than gold They share precious moments and stories untold They carry each other through fairways and rough For that’s what true friendship is all about And much, much, more is the bond that is shared When the world outside, doesn’t seems to care For that’s when true friendship is tested and trialled Cause a strong, firm foundation is the heart of a friend Yes a strong, firm foundation is the heart of a friend Friendship cannot be bought Neither borrowed or sold And those who have done it before Are still paying the price That was never bargained for and more Friendship is A gift from above Have a blessed day...
