7 years ago today, I brought my 9 month old baby girl home from Guatemala! She is not a baby any more! But she will always be my baby - at least thats what my Mama still tells me and I am over 40! Everyone comments on how tall that she is getting! She is quick to tell them that she is very tall for a Guatemalan! She is smart! She can talk your head off with totally random animal facts! Gymnastics is really turning out to be her thing! Her flexibility is amazing to me! She is very excited about being selected for the Advanced Gymnastics Class this year - and even allowed me to buy her a hot pink leotard today! Tonight, she will start practices for another season of Upward Cheerleading! Her two best friends are Bea and Madi Belle! A week from tomorrow, she will begin 2nd grade at a brand new Charter School, with many of our friends. She tells me that the two people that she loves more than me are God and Jesus. She loves art and loves to sing! She loves her pets and her family. People tell me that she is lucky to have me for a mother. They have it all wrong! I am beyond blessed that God chose me to be Abigails Mommy! Our life together is crazy! I am not perfect and I fail every day. I thank God for these last 7 years that He has allowed us to be at home together! They have flown by!! Happy Homecoming Day to my precious Abbie Faith!!!
