7 years ago today, was a memorable day for me. My mom proved, once again, just how awesome she is, a chapter of my life came to a close, and I spent the rest of the day in tears. *SPOILER: This is a Harry Potter post. I wasnt able to buy Deathly Hallows at midnight and I was bummed, to say the least. She woke me up that morning, saying she had something for me. I sat up and she handed me a gift bag. Inside, was the final book of the Harry Potter series. My mom bought it for me. (I told you, shes awesome!) We were expecting company though, and I wasnt able to start reading it. Later that day, around 6, I opened the book and saw the J.K. Rowling dedicated the book to me, to everyone who stuck with Harry. Thats when the tears started. I spent the next 26 hours, give or take, reading the end of my childhood. My heart was broken; my only relief was knowing that no one else would be hurt and that they hadnt finished the movies. I dont remember much after that, just being in bed, sobbing. 7 years later and I still cry thinking about that day. So, thats my story.
