70 HEARTY CHEERS TO A RARE GEM!!! Where and/ how can i even start??? Turning 70 is a major milestone, joyous for some and emotionally challenge for others. Happy 70 year old to a wonderful mummy who could teach 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 year old what it means to be young at heart because it is a shame that most people and everything that is 70yrs old are nowhere near as loving, kind, wise, gentle and inspirational as you. Sometimes, it is hard to explain in words how a person feels turning 70. It is like sitting on a mountain peak, watching seven decades of your life unfold into a wonderful melody of memories which can be played again and again to hearts content. The Irony of this your birthday celebration is that the cake will be large enough to hold 70 candles but you will not be allowed to eat more than a slice. Mummy, if you treat 70 just like another number, your body and mind will forget that there is zero after the seven because age is just a number in your life story, your soul, body will forever remain youthful and infectious - Mama like 28. With the kind of exceptional life you live, if your wisdom and experience were to be auctioned, they would command a record breaking prize. As your children, we are the fruits of a tree which owe its sweetness to the strength of its root - YOU. IYA MOJI as fondly called by people, your new age is not just to count your own blessings, but to also count how much of a blessing your life has been to others - most expecially my mother and I. If I should start counting or mentioning the number of people you have impacted positively in their lives, this page will not contain me and that is the reason why I christened you as mother of Mothers - ironically, my Mum is your firstborn while I am your lastborn. Time is unfair because it has aged most of us but it refuses to touch you but never mind because In sha Allah this birthday is not the time to write the last chapter pf your life rather it is the time to begin part 2. Dont hit your brake @ 70, just change the gear. Mummy, you deserve all the accolades you are getting and the ones you will get because you have worn so many hats for so many people for so long without expecting anything in return.
