728b One of the things I find most amazing about how God works is that He not only forgives us of our past but He redeems what was bad for good. In the process of transforming us, He redeems us. An idea that emerged from a camp at Harding University a few years ago attempts to do the same in response to the darkness of 9/11. Led primarily by teens the National Day of Encouragement is a positive and uplifting response to the loss experienced on 9/11. The concept is simple... On 9/12, make a concerted effort to serve and encourage others. While this is the goal for everyday, through the National Day of Encouragement, it provides additional motivation to make a difference.
