73 year old Ringo Starr touring again. Al and I had dinner with friends at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY and then saw the Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band Concert. After the concert we checked out the nightlife at the casino too. For Ringos next round of live dates, Starr will reunite with the 12th lineup of his All-Starr Band, the same version of the oft-revolving group that he’s been using since 2012. Joining him will be guitarist Steve Lukather, singer Richard Page, keyboardist Gregg Rolie, multi-instrumentalist Todd Rundgren, and drummer Gregg Bissonette — all of whom have, of course, scored hits in their own right, many of which will be incorporated into the set list. They also played Rundgrens songs and many Santana as well. I thought this years show and lighting was much better than their performance in Bethel Woods.
