75: They were gone for a long time so I softly pushed Minnie to the side, I joined her in bed and rapped my arms around her. I kissed her , prayed then fell asleep. An hour or two later, I woke up and Sizwe was holding Minnies hand. Me: How long did I sleep? Siz: Its been 2 hours and thirty minutes now Hes voiced cracked, sounded like he wanted to cry, he couldnt even look at me in the eye. Me: Should we leave? Siz: Not yet Me: Why not? Siz: Just not yet He looked at me and a tear rolled down his eye. Me: Sizwe youre scaring me :( Siz: Theres something I need to tell you Me: What is it? Cant it wait babe? We turned and looked at her. Doc: Do you wanna do it or I should Me: No youre not doing anything to her! Sizwe dont allow her! Sizwe nodded at the doctor Me: Youre not allowing this! I saw Sizwes tears flowing from his eyes uncontrollably, it hurt me even more. I started hitting the doctors chest. I slapped her and did everything. Sizwe stopped me Siz: Kagiso babe no please! The doctor pushed me away and switched the machines off. I fainted right on the spot. An hour later: I woke up in Hospital bed. No-one was around. Infact for the rest of the day I had no visitors. This was the saddest day of my life, no lie. I had 8 missed calls and 3 text messages. The first one from Melody: Wow Im speechless, I dont have the proper words right now, I just wanna tell you to be strong...Well be always here to support you. Love Mel The other from my dad: Baby girl Ill be there tomorrow, hang in there. The other from Palesa: I heard about everything. I cant hold in my tears right now, imma see you tomorrow. Youre in a situation I dont know about. I love you so much my friend, God is our only hope now. I cried myself to sleep again. The next day. The doctor came in and checked if Im okay then I asked to bath. I bathed and went back to bed. I was to be dis-charged that day. Sizwe walked in. Siz: Hy :) Me: Hey Siz: You good? Me: Good? Mxm Siz: Babe you cant be mad at me Me: Sizwe you allowed them! You let them kill her, Ill never forgive you for that! Never! He just kept quiet and sat down. It was quite awkward until he broke the silence Siz: Youre getting discharged today Me: Id rather stay Siz: Kag.. Me: No Sizwe Im staying here! Siz: Okay...Have you eaten?
