75 years ago the WW2 co-authored by fascist Germany and Stalins Russia began. The world leaders mistakenly hoped that agreeing to satisfy Hitlers territory demands they would avoid the war. Following lengthy negotiations and blatant war threats from Hitler, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain with French leaders tried to appease Hitler. In the Munich Agreement of September 30, 1938, the major European powers allowed German troops to occupy the Sudetenland, for the sake of peace for our time. (In 2014 the world leaders closed their eyes on Russias annexation of Crimea, too). But the annexation of Austria, Czechoslovakia and Memelland (part of Lithuania) and having Stalins Russia on his side only encouraged Hitler to move forward with the total war. Just like many predicted Russia hasnt stopped after Crimea. It started a war in Eastern Ukraine. And it will not stop there if the world will keep appeasing the aggressor. The lesson: you cant negotiate with terrorists and aggressors. They can only understand their own language - force and power.
