79% Doctors with foreign Degrees fail Screening test Thousands of students, who completed their medical degrees abroad, are failing en masse for the past four years in clearing the mandatory screening test that allows them to practice in india. Data History 14476 students appeared in 2012 only 3150 Qualifies (2012) 13270 students appeared in 2011 only 3576 Qualifies (2011) 10115 Students appeared in 2010 only 2680 Qualifies (2010) India recognizes post graduate medical degrees from only five countries, doctors from these countries are exempted from talking the test and are allowed to practice in india. -Australia -Canada -UK -US -New Zealand Courtesy: The Counsellor
